Error of the Day: Bit Locker Failed to encrypt C:

Laptop: Dell Latitude 7390 
Operation System: Window 10 Enterprise 64 bits 
TPM: 2.0 
Boot Mode: UFEI 
BiOS: 1.3.3 

When I attempted to encrypt my C: drive on the Dell laptop. I get the following error message. 


Error Message: Failed to encrypt C: 

Solution: 
I had to go update the BIOS to the latest version from the Dell website. After upgrading to BIOS 1.5.5 the issue was resolved. 

You can also try to clear the TPM cache to see if that will work as well.
